Dr. Stephanie Marie Kinney is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Clinical Director of Purple Path Counseling Center PLLC. With over a decade of experience, she is passionate about walking alongside individuals, couples, and families as they navigate the often complex terrain of healing, identity, and personal growth.

Dr. Kinney holds an M.A. in Psychology from Phillips Graduate University, and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) from California Southern University. She holds active LMFT licenses in multiple states, including AK, AZ CA, CO, FL, ID, NV, OH, OR, PA, TX, UT, VA, WI, WY—serving a broad and diverse clientele with compassion and clinical excellence.

Her specialties include perinatal mental health, substance use concerns, relationship dynamics, and life transitions. She integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered principles, and mindfulness-based strategies to create a tailored, trauma-informed approach for each client. As a certified perinatal mental health provider (PMH-C), she is especially attuned to the emotional complexities of pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting.

Stephanie’s therapeutic style is grounded in cultural humility, presence, and deep respect for her clients’ lived experiences. She creates an affirming space where clients can explore patterns with curiosity, develop new insights, and reconnect with their inner strength.

Outside of her professional work, Dr. Kinney finds joy in baking, singing, and soaking up moments at Disneyland with her family. She cherishes quality time with her husband and children and often finds inspiration in conversations with her close friend and colleague, Dr. Brisco.

Dr. Tia Brisco, Psy.D., LMFT

Dr. Tia Brisco is a licensed marriage and family therapist and corporate mental wellness specialist passionate about supporting the mental health of employees and organizations. She specializes in employee mental health, major life transitions, first responders, and life balance. Dr. Brisco also serves as a corporate wellness trainer, organizational crisis therapist, and Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) evaluator, offering tailored support to companies navigating employee well-being and workplace challenges.

She earned her M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Northridge, and her PsyD in Clinical Psychology from California Southern University. She holds active LMFT licenses in multiple states, including AZ, CA, DE, FL, ID, LA, MI, NV, NM, OR, TX, UT, VA, WA. Her expertise has been featured in various media outlets, including Voyage Magazine, Shoutout LA Magazine, Bold Journey Magazine, and most recently, Canvas Rebel Magazine in 2024.

In her free time, Dr. Brisco enjoys participating in hot hula fitness as part of Team Las Vegas, going to concerts, spending quality time with her best friends and godchildren, and indulging in pasta on Dr. Kinney’s couch.
