Child Therapy

At Purple Path Counseling Center PLLC, we provide compassionate, child-centered therapy to help children feel safe, understood, and supported as they navigate emotional, behavioral, social, and developmental challenges.

Childhood can bring big feelings that children may not yet have the words to explain. Therapy gives children a supportive space to express themselves, build coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and strengthen confidence.

We Support Children Experiencing:

Anxiety, sadness, mood changes, emotional outbursts, difficulty adjusting to life changes, grief, trauma, school stress, social challenges, low self-esteem, family transitions, behavioral concerns, and difficulty managing anger or frustration.

Our Approach

Our therapists use developmentally appropriate, evidence-based approaches such as play-based interventions, mindfulness-based coping skills, cognitive behavioral strategies, trauma-informed care, and family collaboration. We meet children where they are emotionally and help them build tools in a way that feels safe, engaging, and age appropriate.

Parent & Family Involvement

Parents and caregivers are an important part of the therapy process. We work collaboratively with families to better understand the child’s needs, support progress at home, and strengthen communication and connection within the family system.

Child Therapy Can Help With:

Improving emotional regulation, reducing anxiety, building coping skills, increasing confidence, improving communication, strengthening social skills, processing difficult experiences, and supporting healthier behavior at home and school.
