ABOUT US

Purple Path Counseling Center PLLC is a private group mental health practice based in Las Vegas/Henderson, Nevada. We are dedicated to providing compassionate, culturally responsive, and evidence-based therapy services for individuals, couples, and families. Our services are offered both in-person and virtually to ensure accessibility for diverse client needs.

Founded by experienced licensed clinicians, Purple Path emphasizes holistic healing, empowerment, and collaboration. Our therapists are trained in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (MB-CBT), person-centered therapy, and trauma-informed approaches—ensuring that every session is tailored to support the whole person.

At our core, we believe that every person deserves to be met with empathy, respect, and cultural humility. We are especially passionate about serving BIPOC clients, birthing individuals, healthcare professionals, and those navigating the emotional impacts of systemic inequity, trauma, and transition.

Whether you’re seeking support for anxiety, relationship challenges, postpartum recovery, or long-standing emotional pain, Purple Path offers a grounded, affirming space for healing. We walk beside our clients—not ahead of them—honoring each step of the path toward clarity, connection, and growth.

THE HEART BEHIND OUR PRACTICE

PPCC is deeply rooted in the legacy of Dr. Kinney's grandmother Carmen and Dr. Brisco's grandmother Erma. Both remarkable women who taught us that healing begins with love. They had a quiet but powerful way of nurturing those around them, often through simple acts: a warm meal, a kind word, a safe place to rest. They believed in feeding others—body, heart, and soul.

Both women shared a deep love for the color purple and the gentle beauty of butterflies. To them, purple symbolized strength, dignity, and transformation. Butterflies, delicate yet resilient, reminded them (and now us) that growth is always possible—even after life’s most difficult seasons.

Inspired by their wisdom, grace, and endless compassion, we created a space where people could come as they are and be met with the same warmth they once gave so freely. Our practice isn’t just about clinical care—it’s about legacy. It’s about honoring the women who taught us how to love others with gentleness and strength.

At our core, we are here to do what our grandmothers always did: offer care, comfort, and the belief that healing is possible.
