Grief & Loss Therapy
(Including Infertility and Pregnancy Loss)
At Purple Path Counseling Center PLLC, we provide compassionate, specialized support for individuals and families navigating grief and loss—including the deeply personal experiences of infertility, miscarriage, stillbirth, and reproductive trauma.
Grief is not linear, and it does not always look the way people expect. Loss related to fertility and pregnancy can carry layers of sadness, isolation, confusion, anger, guilt, and unanswered questions. These experiences are often invisible to others, yet profoundly impactful. You deserve a space where your grief is acknowledged, validated, and supported without judgment.
We Support Individuals Experiencing:
Miscarriage, recurrent pregnancy loss, stillbirth, infertility challenges, failed IVF or fertility treatments, pregnancy complications, termination for medical reasons, grief related to reproductive trauma, and the emotional impact of unmet expectations around parenthood.
We also support partners and families who are navigating these losses together.
Our Approach
Our therapists utilize a trauma-informed, person-centered approach grounded in mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral therapy. We honor your unique experience of grief while helping you process emotions at your own pace.
Therapy may include:
Processing grief and loss in a safe, supportive space
Addressing trauma responses and emotional overwhelm
Navigating identity shifts and feelings of “not feeling like yourself”
Reducing anxiety, depression, and intrusive thoughts
Supporting coping during fertility treatments or future pregnancies
Rebuilding trust in your body and sense of self
We understand the sensitivity and complexity of reproductive loss and provide care that is both clinically informed and deeply compassionate.
Grief & Loss Therapy Can Help With:
Making space for grief without pressure to “move on,” understanding and processing complex emotions, reducing isolation, improving emotional regulation, strengthening relationships with partners or loved ones, and finding meaning and healing after loss.
